We are seeking a skilled Tanker Operator to manage tankers onsite at our Banbury - Twyford location. This role involves shunting trailers to and from customer sites on a daily basis, performing regular checks, and maintaining yard cleanliness.

The primary responsibility of the Tanker Operator is to ensure tanker loads are safe, secure, and correctly positioned for transit. The role also involves maintaining constant communication with the Traffic Office regarding requirements and any issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload tankers, following all site procedures and ensuring compliance with all documentation.
  • Ensure tanker loads are safe, secure, and correctly positioned for transit.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Traffic Office regarding requirements and any issues.
  • Conduct yard checks upon request to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain the yard in a clean and tidy condition at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a shunting role preferred.
  • HGV Class 1 Licence (No more than 6 points).
