We are seeking a confident and hardworking individual to fill the Unqualified Behaviour Support Assistant role at a fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Hackney.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a desire to work with young people, as well as previous experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with complex needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individual and group support to students with SEN/SEMH needs
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
- Monitoring student progress and reporting to teachers and other support staff
- Developing and implementing strategies to support student behaviour and well-being
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with young people
