Job Title: Specialist Autism Mentor

Randstad Student Support is seeking a dedicated and caring Specialist Autism Mentor to support students with autism in Dundee. As a trusted advisor, you will provide one-to-one guidance, helping students overcome academic challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Listen to students and help them manage stress, low mood, and anxiety levels.
  • Give students the confidence to learn independently and develop skills such as organisational skills and time management.
  • Provide students with new experiences that will develop them for future roles.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working with autistic clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify ways of helping students to build on their learning strengths while maintaining a confidential and professional working relationship.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of students.
