Job Title: Bank Nurse Band 5

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated band 5 A&E registered nurses to join our temporary staffing bank at The Royal Free Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care with the multidisciplinary team and patients' families.
  • Act as a named nurse under the supervision of a senior team leader.
  • Support and respond as requested by the department in the event of a major incident being declared.
Requirements:
  • 1st/2nd level registration.
  • Emergency Nursing Course.
  • 12 months experience after qualifying.
  • 6 months recent A&E experience.
  • Ability to manage A&E patients with support.
  • Able to prioritise.
  • Evidence of self-development.

  • Mature and professional attitude.
  • Enthusiastic and positive.
  • Displays compassion and understanding.
