University Centre Academic Leadership

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to fill the role of University Centre Academic Leadership. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Estimated Salary: £39,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a range of higher education programmes, working closely with academic staff, and contributing to the development of new initiatives. A strong understanding of the higher education sector, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others are essential qualities for this role.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a range of higher education programmes, ensuring they meet quality standards and student needs.
  • Mentor and support academic staff, providing guidance and development opportunities to enhance their performance and career progression.
  • Contribute to the development of new programme proposals, working collaboratively with colleagues across the University Centre.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including students, parents, employers, and other external partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes, making recommendations for improvement and enhancement.
