Role OverviewThe role is ideal for recent school leavers, college students, or graduates who can commute to Ashburton. Our client is a respected organisation focused on community service and social action.
Key Responsibilities- Answer phone calls and direct enquiries appropriately
- Maintain filing systems in compliance with UK GDPR guidelines
- Update project monitoring spreadsheets and prepare reports
- Handle information requests and assist with basic report writing
- Liaise with external contacts regarding appointments and meetings
- Support departments with social media and intranet content
- Prepare and modify various documents and correspondence
- Assist with event organisation and administration
- Create content using design tools and conduct research on social issues
- GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills
- 4 weeks annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (pro-rata)
- 4 additional days off between Christmas and New Year
