Employee Relations Specialist

At Skillfinder International, we are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team. As an Employee Relations Manager, you will play a critical role in addressing a wide range of issues in the UK and Ireland, including investigations, performance management, policy violations, discipline, terminations, and employment law compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investigations into grievances, disciplinaries, and formal procedures, working closely with line managers to address performance and probation-related issues.
- Provide expert advice to HR colleagues and managers on Employee Relations matters and policies.
- Oversee the application process for flexible working arrangements and collaborate with the policy lead to revise HR policies and procedures.
- Work in partnership with the Employee Relations Manager and global partners on ER programs, initiatives, and projects.
- Support internal counsel in managing employee litigation matters and efficiently manage requests related to access to personal data.
- Manage medical accommodations, including conducting risk assessments and making necessary adjustments.
- Conduct training sessions for managers on policies and procedures related to Employee Relations.
- Proven consulting expertise in senior ER or HR business partner roles with a focus on Employee Relations.
- Successful history of independently handling investigations, performance, and probation management, and disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Familiarity with implementing Employee Relations protocols in Ireland.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Effective influencing capabilities.
- Collaborative work approach.
- Robust awareness of risk factors.
