About the Job:
We are looking for a Financial Management Specialist to join our team at Veolia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial management and reporting support to our operations and project managers. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide financial management and reporting support to our operations and project managers.
  2. Build relationships with finance and operational teams to understand contract deliverables and financial impact.
  3. Communicate regularly with contract managers, finance personnel, and senior management.
  4. Prepare management accounts in a timely manner, alerting senior management to concerns or issues.
  5. Perform monthly variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  6. Report accurate financial information for business decisions.
  7. Process accounting transactions, including accruals and prepayments.
  8. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or similar experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competent Google Sheets/Excel and computer skills.
  • Experience with Workday and Adaptive Insights an advantage.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a small team.
