Catering Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Assistant to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a quality catering service that meets the needs and expectations of our residents, in line with health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures, minimizing the risk of accidents and incidents.
- Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients to create delicious and nutritious dishes.
- Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Escalate any concerns or issues related to food safety, hygiene, or health and safety to the Chef Manager or other relevant personnel.
Requirements
- Level 2 food safety certificate or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a catering environment, with knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
