Catering Assistant

Anchor is seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Thameside in West Molesey. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is exceptional.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of kitchen equipment.
- Escalate any concerns or issues to the Chef Manager.
- Level 2 food safety certificate.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
- Previous catering experience, with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
- Experience working with older people.
- Ability to organize time and prioritize tasks.
- Able to work in a pressured environment.
- Flexible and able to work as part of a team and individually.
