About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our service users, staff, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas, including communal spaces, clinical rooms, and offices.
  • Replenish stocks of disposable items, paper hand towels, and soap, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Complete cleaning records, sign off areas completed, and note inaccessible areas.
  • Highlight ongoing issues to the Hotel Service Supervisor and report defects in cleaning equipment.
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including floor cleaning equipment and steam cleaners, ensuring safe and effective use.
