About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team in Scotland West Division. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works at all times, while maintaining the highest quality of work and customer service within the given timescales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the day-to-day running of the development and provide clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets.
  2. Implement and manage health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers, and ensure that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered to.
  3. Motivate, support, and manage directly employed site staff, providing training, coaching, and support as required to improve performance.
  4. Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times.
  5. Deliver all aspects of production requirements in strict accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided and any subsequent instructions that may be necessary from time to time.
  6. Fully conform to building regulations and warranty providers' requirements (NHBC, LABC Services).
  7. Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Construction Manager and/or Construction Director as requested.
  8. Maintain adequate site records, including Site Managers reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions, and health and safety records.
  9. Inspect and ensure any remedial work is completed in advance of each NHBC key stage inspection.
Requirements
  1. Experience of working as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
  2. Effective team management experience.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
