IGNE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist to join our team in Hamilton, Scotland. As a Senior Geologist, you will play a key role in leading our ground investigation team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage large ground investigations, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
- Develop and implement risk assessment and site management strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and present interpretative and factual reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Manage site preparation, supervision, and management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead project management activities, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- BSc in Geology or related field.
- Proven experience in ground investigation, risk assessment, and site management.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the geology industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
