About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our Group Sustainability & Stewardship team on a permanent basis. This role can be based out of our Alderley Edge, Edinburgh, or London offices.

As a member of the team, you will provide consultancy advice, analysis, and insight on sustainability and stewardship matters. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement the carbon offset strategy, obtain buy-in, and provide consultancy advice on sustainability matters.

About You

  • You will have a strong understanding of the pensions and asset management sectors, including business practices and priorities.
  • You will have demonstrable knowledge of operational and value chain emissions, including portfolio emissions.
  • You will have a good understanding of GHG emissions calculation and reporting and PCAF.
  • You will have an understanding of carbon offsetting approaches.
  • You will be able to handle, interpret, and analyse large data sets to draw out meaning.
  • You will have excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills, as well as excellent all-round communication skills.
  • You will be a team-player with the ability to support and advise more junior members of the team.
