About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our company, acting as the critical link between the Client and its vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project controls and process engineering from either an oil and gas service company or operator background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Utilize project controls techniques to manage cost forecasting, reporting, and risk management.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and track project progress against agreed milestones.
  • Coordinate project documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with MOSL & Client standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the MOSL & Client and its vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate meetings and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Manage the engineering scopes, vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contracts and agreed project deliverables.
  • Resolve technical and commercial issues that may arise, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Prepare regular project reports, including cost, schedule, and progress updates, for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is compliant with both internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support the reconciliation of project data, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery timelines or budget.
  • Proactively address project challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to project flow.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in project engineering, project controls, and process engineering within the oil and gas sector, ideally within an operator or service company.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, cost control, and risk management. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with vendors, contractors, and senior management.
  • Degree in Process Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to visit project sites as required.
