Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our busy maintenance team at our production site in Falkirk.

About the Role

This is a key role within our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the continuous running of our production process by eliminating downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Eliminate downtime by performing safe and logical approaches to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
  • Work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Time served or apprentice trained in a similar position with electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent).
  • A good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Ability to interrogate and understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.
  • PLC knowledge is essential.
