Job Title: Systems Engineering Manager

Location: Flexible working arrangements available. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683 to £52,426 (Commensurate with skills and experience)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineering Manager, you will lead the interface with customers, understanding their requirements and keeping them involved during product development. You will also influence a diverse and highly skilled community of engineers, while interfacing with non-engineering functions across the business.

You will manage a team and senior stakeholders, working closely with other Engineering Leads through the integration lifecycle. You will propose, develop, and deliver engineering products and solutions that meet expected standards and customer needs.

Requirements:
  1. Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle.
  2. Evidence based experience in an engineering integration environment. (Applicants encouraged from Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Nuclear Industries)
  3. Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets (Teamcenter PLM, DOORs, CAMEO, MATLAB, ANSYS).
  4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  5. Good communication skills across all levels of an organisation.
  6. Self-starter and pro-active but with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  7. Accreditation to the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE), or equivalent body/institute, is desirable but not essential.
