Position Overview:

The Consultant will leverage their expertise to provide strategic advice and support clients on carbon & climate performance management, focusing on decarbonization, net-zero roadmaps, and climate risk & opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough climate risk assessments in line with leading industry frameworks.
  • Assess corporate carbon footprints in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
  • Support company management in their net-zero journey and align with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
  • Stay up to date on evolving carbon & climate regulations and industry best practices.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and training materials on carbon & climate topics.
  • Support our digital platform development in creating innovative solutions for our client base.
Qualifications and Ideal Capabilities:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting, carbon accounting, ESG consulting, or similar.
  • Scientific study background in sustainability-oriented fields, such as Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainable Energy Technology, Earth Sciences.
  • Knowledge of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, TCFD, and SBTi, or eagerness to learn.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to analyse complex situations and develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent research, interpretation, and communication skills to effectively guide clients through the evolving carbon and climate landscape.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong team player.
