Volunteering Opportunities Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Volunteering Opportunities Coordinator. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for engaging with residents and supporting activities at Woodside Home for Older People.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have a passion for volunteering and a commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing their interests with others and is willing to go the extra mile to make a difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with residents through various activities such as gardening, bingo, music, befriending, and arts and crafts.
- Provide support to residents with mobility issues, enabling them to access activities within the home and outside space.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement volunteering opportunities that meet the needs of our residents.
- A caring and patient nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary of £18,000 per annum.
