About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Director of External Relations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing our fundraising, marketing, communications, and income generation strategy.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of strategic and operational leadership in a complex environment, with experience in fundraising and marketing. You will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the Diocese of Bristol's mission and vision. You will be part of a dynamic and values-driven culture, and will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing the Diocesan of Bristol's FMCIG strategy to raise its profile, increase income, and build partnerships across sectors.
- Ensuring that the Diocesan strategy feeds into operational FMCIG activity and ensuring the team runs smoothly.
- Sharing in the management and leadership of the Diocesan Support Services as part of the SLT.
Salary: £63,000 + pension
Location: Bristol (hybrid role)
