Widener University is seeking a full-time tenure track Mathematics faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching mathematics at the college/university level, excellent communication skills, and a strong research plan.

The primary responsibilities of this position include teaching 9-12 credits of undergraduate mathematics per semester, primarily for science and engineering students, maintaining active scholarship, and participating in academic citizenship at all levels of the university.

Candidates must have a Ph.D in Mathematics and experience teaching mathematics at the college level as the instructor of record. ABD candidates may be considered if the degree will be completed by May 2025.

Applicants must submit a cover letter addressing the position requirements, a curriculum vitae, and all of the following documents compiled into a single file in PDF format: a) statement of teaching philosophy, b) statement of research, and c) transcripts.

These materials should provide examples of the candidate's experiences with diverse student populations and demonstrate how they could promote an environment of inclusive excellence in our department and in the broader Widener University community.
