Wood Process & Energy is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to contribute to a significant initiative with a leading energy provider on a contractual basis.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, evaluation, and communication of precise project timelines and strategies to ensure effective oversight of projects throughout their duration.

Your responsibilities will include the development and submission of project timelines and strategies, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards of detail and precision in line with contractual obligations and Wood's operational policies and standards.

As a Senior Project Scheduler, you will play a key role in guiding and enhancing the Planning team, managing project timelines and strategies, and organizing project planning documentation. You will serve as the primary contact for various project scopes.

  • A degree at ISCED level 6 (Bachelor's) in a relevant technical or business field (or equivalent experience through vocational training and/or industry exposure) is typically required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Expertise in Primavera and other scheduling tools, including Logic and CPM analysis, resource allocation, and leveling.
  • Strong understanding of Project Execution Procedures for Scheduling.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to formulate project timelines and strategies.
  • Capability to prepare resource allocation, progress, and staffing plans.
  • In-depth understanding of earned value management, cost and schedule variance analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Solid grasp of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning, and Risk Analysis & Management.
