Project Scheduler Opportunity

Wood is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to support a project with Centrica Storage Limited (CSL) on a permanent staff basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reporting accurate project schedules and plans to ensure the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting project schedules and plans in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Supporting the management and development of the Planning team, including the management of project schedules and plans, and the preparation and filing of project planning documentation.
  • Acting as the focal point for several project scopes.

Typically, this role requires an ISCED level 6 (Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline, or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficient knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software and related tools and techniques.
  • Proficient understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to develop project schedules and plans, prepare resource loading, progress, and staffing plans.
  • Proficient understanding of earned value application, cost, and schedule variance analyses/trending, and what-if scenarios.
  • Detailed understanding of project management principles and techniques.
