Hearing Specialist for Rehabilitation and Audiology Services

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join its audiology team, providing high-quality hearing assessment and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult audiology, with experience in hearing aid fitting and patient management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Fitting digital hearing aids and providing ongoing support and maintenance.
- Collaborate with ENT clinics and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in audit-based patient management systems and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Audiology or a related field (BTEC MPPM/BSc/MSc Audiology or equivalent).
- Relevant work experience within an audiology service, including experience of adult rehabilitation, digital hearing aid fitting, and audit-based patient management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to patients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
