Market Risk Analyst

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst to join our Global Markets In-Business Risk (IBR) team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in establishing a holistic understanding of market risk and capital of the aggregated trading portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) from within the business, collaborating across 1st and 2nd line to ensure the implementation is commercial, sustainable, and in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Support IBR team in identifying critical gaps and executing gap closure in line with regulatory commitments.
  • Develop data analytics tools by working with technology, quants, and the asset class IBR team to help efficiency for 1st risk management.
  • Hands-on data analysis and explain FRTB and other risk metrics drivers.
Requirements:
  • Required experience in (and understanding of) trading/market risks, or previous experience in a quantitative or risk function.
  • Experience in technology/Data Roles in Financial services.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and risk metrics.
  • Strong in Python and SQL programming skills.
  • Experience with Big data Apache Hadoop.
  • Experience with Tableau/PowerBI or other dashboard tools.
  • Thorough financial acumen and P&L management experience.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
