About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will manage a caseload of Legal Aid-funded cases, including obtaining protective injunctions and providing guidance on family law matters related to domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal advice and representation to clients in domestic violence cases, ensuring compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements.
  2. Offer compassionate support to clients, understanding the sensitive nature of domestic violence cases and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  3. Stay informed about changes in domestic violence law and Legal Aid regulations, ensuring that all advice is up-to-date and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in family law, with a focus on domestic violence cases.
  • In-depth understanding of Legal Aid procedures and requirements.
  • Strong advocacy skills, with experience representing clients in court.
