About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver to join our team at Initial Medical, a leading provider of healthcare waste management services in the UK.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting healthcare waste to our waste transfer station depots, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of waste to its final disposal or recovery.

You will work closely with our customers to provide excellent customer service, ensuring that their waste management needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and transport healthcare waste to our waste transfer station depots
  • Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of waste to its final disposal or recovery
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their waste management needs
  • Operate small transit-style vehicles for regular planned services
Requirements
  • A full UK driving license with two years' experience and six points or less
  • Great customer service skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • An ability to use your initiative and have a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Good geographical driving knowledge
  • An ADR certificate (not essential as training will be provided)
