We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Children's Night Support Professional. Located in Soham, Cambridgeshire, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met. This involves developing and maintaining person-centered bedtime routines that meet the unique needs of each child.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing wakeful supervision and ensuring the safety and welfare of each child during night shifts
  • Engaging in activities with children and offering empathy and compassion when needed
  • Keeping accurate records using a computer and reporting any incidents or concerns
  • Answering phone calls professionally and responding to requests and questions

The ideal candidate will possess experience in safeguarding children and working with vulnerable groups. They should also have effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality care and support.

A comprehensive induction and training program will be provided to upskill our workforce. Progression opportunities within the organization are also available.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £28,959.84 per annum. Working hours are 20:00pm-08:00am (12 hour shifts).
