Our Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to join our multidisciplinary team in North London.

About the Role

This Band 7 position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned nurse professional to provide expert occupational health services to our clients. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive occupational health, safety, and wellbeing services that meet the highest standards of good practice and current health and safety legislation.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide expert advice to management teams on current occupational health issues, ensuring alignment with established guidelines and policies.
  • Develop and implement best-practice models for service delivery, guaranteeing equity, confidentiality, and accessibility for all employees.
  • Manage the clinical nursing team, overseeing research and audit activities within the specialist area.
  • Assume budgetary responsibilities, including the procurement of consumables and physical assets, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Diploma or higher in Nursing, OH nursing certification, and relevant specialized training.
  • Experience: At least 2 years at Band 6 level, with clinical competency in assessments, injury assessment, health surveillance, and workplace hazard evaluation.
  • Desirable qualifications and experience include previous experience in assisting ill employees with return-to-work, data management, and reporting.
Benefits

In return for your expertise, we offer an attractive salary of approximately £58,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
