About the Role
This is a full-time position based at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, primarily working with the administration team to create a dynamic approach to maximise employee health, wellness at work, and productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of occupational health nursing services, including health assessments, risk management, and return-to-work planning. They will also work closely with HR, line managers, and employees to address health and safety issues and provide personal health advice.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Act as a senior occupational health advisor, providing expert guidance and support to band 5 occupational health practice nurses and other colleagues. • Provide comprehensive health assessments, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. • Collaborate with HR and line managers to develop and implement health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. • Conduct regular audits and research to identify areas for improvement and develop best practices in occupational health care. • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of occupational health staff and other stakeholders. • Work collaboratively with other teams within the trust to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
