Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Asset Modelling Specialist to join our team at Uniper. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing optimisation models for our energy assets, including power stations, heat grids, energy storage, and renewables.

Your primary objective will be to provide critical insights and strategic recommendations to Uniper's leadership by modelling the performance and profitability of our energy assets over time. This will involve running models with multiple technical scenarios and market price sensitivities to describe Uniper's option space and the different possible outcomes.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating models to reflect changing market and asset conditions, conducting comprehensive analyses on Uniper and third-party assets within our core markets, and providing insights and recommendations for investment decisions and strategy projects based on model outcomes.

As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance asset modelling and links to related processes.

We are looking for a highly analytical and quantitative individual with a strong background in energy asset modelling, operations research, or a related field. You will have proven experience in energy asset optimisation and modelling in academia and/or industry, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
