We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Theatre Assistant to join our team at SpaMedica. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide essential support to our consultants and nurses in the delivery of high-quality ophthalmic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Scrub/ODP assistance and experience for clinical procedures.
- Assist the consultant and clinical team in the delivery of all ophthalmic care.
- Manage all the theatre equipment daily.
- Admission and discharge of patients on theatre days.
- Adhere to the principles of clinical governance and NMC or HCPC guidelines.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £35,053 to £43,327 depending on ophthalmology experience.
- A 4-day workweek with flexible shifts and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- 33 days of annual leave, increasing with length of service.
- A bonus scheme with potential earnings of up to 5% individual performance-related bonus.
