As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients undergoing cataract surgery. Your expertise as a Scrub Nurse will be essential in ensuring the smooth delivery of ophthalmic care.
Our focus is on patient safety, satisfaction, and well-being. You will work closely with our consultant and clinical team to deliver exceptional care and adhere to the principles of clinical governance and NMC guidelines.
As a Scrub Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in ophthalmic care, working with a team of experts in the field. You will also have access to our continuous training and development programme, which will help you enhance your skills and advance your career.
Salary and benefits for this role include:
- Starting salary £35,053 to £43,327 depending on ophthalmology experience.
- Work-life balance shifts of 4 days a week starting 7.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays (overtime is available as and when required).
- 33 days holidays (includes bank holidays) increasing with length of service.
- Bonus 1 – January – potential to earn up to 5% individual performance related bonus.
- Bonus 2 – June – potential to earn up to 5% hospital/company related bonus.
- NMC Pin paid for.
