Crane Maintenance and Repair Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Crane Maintenance and Repair Engineer to join our team in Reading and Oxford. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting various types of cranes and lifting equipment.
About You:To succeed in this role, you should possess strong technical expertise in crane maintenance, repair, and inspection, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, lubrication, and adjustments, to ensure optimal crane performance.
- Diagnose and repair complex crane-related issues, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance colleagues' knowledge and skills.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in crane maintenance, repair, and inspection.
- Proven track record of ensuring workplace safety and adhering to LOLER & PUWER regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary: £40,500 - £50,347 per annum.
