Job Title: Senior Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to join our team at Intersect Global Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving delivery performance, providing assurance, and managing stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide oversight and assurance to drive delivery performance
  2. Conduct monthly reviews and identify opportunities for improvement
  3. Ensure compliance with the company's delivery methodologies
  4. Keep accurate records of initiatives, projects, and programmes on company systems
  5. Provide delivery leads with guidance and support to address issues
  6. Early identification and proactive management of risks with mitigations
  7. Identify and share areas of delivery excellence to support an overall increase in capability across the organisation
  8. Act as liaison between the EMMO functions ensuring that initiatives are managed and controlled to enable successful delivery
  9. Facilitate cross-functional engagement across all planning activities
  10. Maintain an in-depth understanding of all initiatives in their area of the portfolio
  11. Ensure accurate reporting of the status of portfolio initiatives
Requirements:
  1. Degree educated with a recognised PPM certification preferred, e.g., MoP, PRINCE2, MSP
  2. Portfolio, Programme or Project Management Expertise, with no less than 10 years experience
  3. Experience working within the telecoms, utilities or other regulated sectors is desirable
  4. Strong understanding of a range of management methodologies and best practices
  5. Demonstrable experience of operating in a business partnering capacity within a complex organisation
  6. Significant practical experience in delivery of assurance for programmes and projects, with a working understanding of a 3LOD model
  7. Analytical mindset
  8. Experience operating in a product-driven and outcome-based organisation
  9. First class Stakeholder Management and communication skills are imperative to this role
  10. Change Management, ability to influence, shape and drive improvement initiatives and lead and deliver change in a large, fast-paced organisation
  11. Proactive and resilient approach with high level self-motivation and aptitude to work well under pressure with a great deal of autonomy
