We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Staff for Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to the class when a teacher is absent
  • Provide clear instructions to students to ensure they understand the work set and their learning objectives
  • Provide support and guidance to students when needed
  • Collect students' work at the end of the lesson to give to the relevant member of staff
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to the relevant person at the school

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • A passion for working with young people
