Job Title: Digital Planning Director

About the Role:

The Digital Planning Director will play a key role in supporting the Buying and Merchandising team with all planning related activities, leading to the buying and replenishment of the optimal digital assortment. This role will work closely and collaboratively with teams across the business, including Digital Trading, Central & Regional Merchandising, Digital Third Parties, Marketing, and Content Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute merchandise planning strategies to meet seasonal targets for all digital channels.
  2. Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, sales data, returns, and other relevant KPIs to forecast suitable merchandise plans.
  3. Work with the buying and merchandising Director to support the seasonal buy strategy, go-to-market plans, and seasonal roll-ups.
  4. Conduct regular in-season sales and stock analysis, working closely with the Trading team to identify reactive short-term opportunities and make adjustments to forward-looking plans.
  5. Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly trade reporting decks.
  6. Proactively respond to ad hoc analysis needs within the team to support merchandising and trade actions.
  7. Support long-term forecasting aligned with business ambitions and growth strategies.
  8. Develop strong relationships with central and regional planners.
Personal Profile:

  1. Accuracy, great attention to detail.
  2. Analytical, excellent numerical skills.
  3. Strong Excel skills.
  4. Good communication skills and teamwork.
  5. Experience within a planning function preferably within a digital team.
  6. Deep understanding of market trends.
  7. Proficient in data analysis and forecasting.
  8. Solid experience in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  9. Experience working with trading, operations, and Supply Chain.
  10. Experience in a luxury fashion environment.
