Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and direction to team members, demonstrating best practice and serving as a role model.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the highest level of care and support for individuals with autism.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's values and mission.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in autism support and care.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Social Care qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, including those with challenging behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, individuals, and families.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A full driving license and access to a vehicle, as regular travel to activities and appointments is required.
