Job Description

DNV Inspection UK is seeking an experienced Inspection Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day inspection activities and maintaining relationships between clients, inspectors, and DNV.

The Coordinator will work within the framework of DNV's Quality and Operational Procedures, Code of Ethics, and Group policy. Key responsibilities include managing customer requirements, identifying qualified inspectors, and submitting inspection reports within specified deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer requirements and Request for Inspection requests (RFI)
  • Identify qualified inspectors to fulfill specific service requests
  • Submit inspectors' CVs and quotes to customers and monitor approval
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are in place prior to scope execution and monitor spend if required
  • Mobilize inspectors for inspection visits and update their schedules
  • Monitor milestones and deadlines for timely transmission of deliverables
  • Review inspection reports within 12 hours of receipt and issue them to clients within specified deadlines
  • Technical review of inspection reports, if applicable
  • Liaise with technical specialists in case of issues detected in reports or during inspection activity
  • Follow administrative deadlines to facilitate internal invoicing processes
  • Establish and maintain communications with clients, inspectors, vendors, and DNV offices where applicable
  • Use production tools to manage activities from RFI to approval of inspectors' timesheets and expenses
  • Support with Pre-Payment Certificates (PPCs) for customers as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Inspection Coordinator role is mandatory
  • General knowledge of Oil & Gas industry and QA/QC services is mandatory
  • Windfarm and/or Renewables inspection knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Technical engineering background is preferred
  • Degree (3 or 5 years) or equivalent standard in an appropriate discipline is preferred
  • Experience working with large international projects within Oil and Gas and/or Renewables Industry is preferred
  • Computer literate with good IT skills, including experience with MS Office programs and Salesforce platform

Location:

  • Possibly based in Aberdeen. Flexibility for hybrid working
