Job Summary:
We are recruiting a Sustainability and Efficiency Lead to join our Property & Facilities Solutions department at Royal Mail Group. This exciting opportunity involves supporting the delivery of property energy and water management plans across our UK estate, ensuring alignment with our net zero carbon, environment, and sustainability policies.

About the Role:
This dynamic position requires an individual with extensive experience in the energy, low-carbon, or related industry. Key responsibilities include leading on-site energy audits, implementing remote analytics, developing energy projects, and interfacing with facilities management and project delivery teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site energy audits and engagement to understand building services, controls, user behaviors, and operational controls impacting energy performance.
- Implement remote analytics and work with our BEMS Team to optimize building energy management systems.
- Develop 'quick win' energy projects and support longer-term capex replacement projects.
- Serve as an interface between Facilities Management and project delivery teams for energy-related programs to ensure overall sustainability goals are met.
- Support engagement with Operations colleagues and provide practical advice and guidance on energy savings initiatives.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the energy, low-carbon, or related industry.
- Expertise in conducting energy audits and delivering tangible results.
- Excellent understanding of building energy management systems (BEMS) and related ICT infrastructure and connectivity requirements for a large portfolio estate.
- Understanding of ISO50001 Energy Management Systems (EnMS) standard and plan-do-check-act continuous improvement methodology.

Salary:
A competitive salary range of £42,000 - £54,000 per annum, depending on experience, 10% London location allowance (if London based).

Benefits:
Use of a work vehicle, 6% bonus potential, 22.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a full UK driving license due to extensive travel and frequent overnight stays.
