The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Programme Lead to join our team at Hadleigh Training Centre in Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff responsible for planning and delivering high-quality training activities for our trainees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of staff in the creation of training activities, utilizing individual learning support plans and skills assessment tools to plan training pathways.
- Deliver training sessions to progress trainees towards their individual outcomes, modeling best practices and providing guidance to staff.
- Empower trainees to make informed choices and take ownership of their learning journey.
- Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of our trainees, ensuring a high level of engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective training environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading and managing staff, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and trainees.
- Awareness of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, including health and safety, data protection, safeguarding, equality, and diversity.
- Passion for delivering high-quality training programs that transform the lives of our trainees.
