Main Job Responsibilities
  • To assess, implement, and evaluate programs of care for women and babies, adhering to current evidence, trust policies, and guidelines.
  • Provide advice, knowledge, and counseling to women and their partners regarding all aspects of antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Act as an advocate for women and babies receiving maternity care.
  • Demonstrate appropriate behavior and attitude when dealing with service users and colleagues, acting as a professional role model.

The salary for this position is £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata. The job requires relevant qualifications, experience, and skills, including registration as a midwife, practicing midwife status, and training in obstetric emergencies.
