About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapy Assistant Band 2 to join our Inpatient Orthopaedic Team at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services to patients with musculoskeletal injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized rehabilitation plans
  • Provide hands-on therapy and treatment to patients, including exercises and equipment prescription
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills and ability to learn new systems
