About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housekeeping / Laundry Attendant to join our team at KYN Hurlingham. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Life Enriching Activity Lead/Life Enriching Activity Co-ordinators in implementing a whole-home approach to providing meaningful occupation for residents.
  • Complete daily housekeeping schedules and ensure all rooms and communal areas are clean, tidy, and presented to the highest standards.
  • Manage the laundry room, ensuring all uniforms and laundry supplies are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Deliver clean towels to residents' rooms and maintain linen rooms and trollies.
  • Report any hazards or potential hazards to the person in charge or take appropriate action.
  • Attend statutory training sessions and adhere to KYN's policies and procedures.

  • You will have experience in a similar role and a proven track record of delivering and maintaining standards at the highest level.
  • You will be a professional with strong communication skills, a corporate and polite manner, and an eye for detail.
  • You will be trustworthy, caring, adaptable, friendly, and patient, with a commitment to excellence.
