Obstetrician Gynaecologist Consultant

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients within the Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. This will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level care to patients with obstetric and gynaecological conditions, including antenatal and postnatal care.
- Conduct gynaecological surgeries and procedures, including Caesarean sections.
- Participate in on-call rotas to provide emergency cover for gynaecological emergencies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and reduce waiting times.
Working Arrangements:
The appointee will work a 42-week cycle, with 5.8 hot weeks (Monday to Friday) per year. These weeks can be swapped, but leave cannot be taken during them. The appointee will also work flexible emergency cover (evenings and weekends) and unpredictable on-call shifts.
Professional Development:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in regular clinical meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
