About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Heritage Consultant to join our expanding built heritage team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the UK, delivering high-quality heritage services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and undertake historic environment projects to time and budget
  • Prepare fee proposals, set budgets, and maintain project finance
  • Provide informed, expert advice to clients and colleagues on heritage constraints and opportunities
  • Negotiate effective methodologies and proportionate scopes of work
  • Prepare authoritative heritage documents in support of planning applications
  • Undertake business planning and marketing of SLR's heritage services
Requirements
  • Relevant degree-level qualification in heritage or a related field
  • Thorough knowledge of the UK planning system with respect to heritage
  • Track record of inputting into successful project delivery across diverse market sectors
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel
