About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join our office-based team in Nottingham. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing earthing system design and analysis, as well as leading our in-house design and engineering team to ensure effective and efficient systems engineering approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage earthing system design and analysis using industry-standard software packages
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of engineering projects
  • Interface with external engineering consultants and DNOs to ensure compliance with client and industry specifications
  • Be accountable for the quality of all design deliverables and technical delivery of whole-life cost solutions
Requirements
  • Be a passionate Lead Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the Power Earthing Engineering environment
  • Hold appropriate qualifications in engineering and demonstrate a sound understanding of relevant technologies and legislation
  • Have good commercial awareness and influencing and negotiating skills
  • Be a proactive person with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Require a full driving license and be willing to work away from home as required
