Job Description

Job Title: Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Nottingham)

Package: Competitive salary from £50,000 DOE

Omega Red is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of electrical systems for our high-voltage projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of electrical systems for high-voltage projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical design, preferably in high-voltage projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of design software and tools
