Experienced Fire and Security Systems Engineer

Amberstone Security Ltd, a leading provider of innovative security solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join their team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fire and Security Systems Engineer to undertake service and maintenance calls, as well as small works as requested. As an Area Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' security systems, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with our Service Desk team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake service and maintenance calls as scheduled by our Service Desk team, and small works as requested.
- Be a member of the out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure full coverage to our customers 24/7/365.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with our Service Desk team to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure the security systems are functioning correctly and make any necessary adjustments.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our clients' security systems, including CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and best practices, and provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Electronic Security with an NSI Gold accredited company.
- Extremely competent with the service and maintenance of all types of Fire & Security Systems, including Remote Monitoring.
- Successfully meet security screening requirements to BS7858:2009, DBS, and Police check.
- Availability to be included within the company 24-hour call out rota.
- Consistently adhere to and responsibly work in accordance with the company's health and safety policy.
- Exhibit reliability, organization, a strong work ethic, and effective planning skills.
- Hold a valid and clean driving license.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
