Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to lead our therapy services in the Emergency Department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic team leader who can drive the service forward through strategic planning and development.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a team of therapists in delivering high-quality patient care and developing the therapy service.
- Develop and implement clinical governance and quality assurance processes to ensure excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Provide education and training to staff and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of the therapy service through strategic planning and business development.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Advanced clinical skills and experience in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of developing and implementing clinical governance and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to provide education and training to staff and students.
- Experience of strategic planning and business development.
